Born in the 'Shwa and raised in Whitby, I've had two interests that most of Italian hertiage do; arts and sports.
Soccer was always my sport. I started playing since I could barely kick and went on to play competative for Whitby (earning a tournament MVP once). Injuries and age stopped that although I've dabbled here and there. Nothing will match the highlight of winning back to back Durham Cups, scoring a hat trick in the second year final.
As for art? I've always loved drawing. I started an obsession with comics at a young age and it's never really subsided. All through school I would always focus on creative projects the most. As I got older, I would go to school and develop more skills which I used to become a graphic designer. I worked for an agency in Toronto, where the designers seemed to all have nicknames (Ninja, Koko, Stretch). A fellow designer game me the nickname MOZZ and it's stuck ever since. Now I work in marketing for the corporate world just outside Toronto.
Yet my creative brain still itches.
(I hope that doesn't sound pretentious.)
(Does it? Ugh. Who likes writing about themselves?)
I have some of my own comic projects in progress, as well as working on a few anthology tales. It's a great learning experience and I'm hoping to show things here as they develop. I'm also a music fan and have recorded some music for fun. I guess you can describe me as a jack of all trades...
...and a master of none.
Stick around! It might be fun!
